Nice TR, great to see LX F on the 333 I have a US-EU on LH F in 3 weeks (US miles) and hope to change to LX F 2 days prior to departure (they almost always open up 1 or 2 seats at T-48h) and your TR confirmed that I NEED to try LX F on the 333, thanks!

Nice report!
Too bad about TK dropping your F - that is really not fair and they should not sell F if they know they will be dropping it - poor show.

It looks as though you had great fun on the trip - you look very excited.

Is it a Canadian-English style why you put the word "baby" at the end of certain sentences?
I've not seen this before.

Nice report and excellent use of miles. Did the TG F seat not go fully flat? I thought it did. Yes a shame about the TK switch as the Jet F suite looks mighty fine.

The Asiana livery looks like their old one rather than being something special (could be wrong though).

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's why. This offering is definitely better than Porter, but of course it's J so I would expect that. Porter is still a lovely ride in my opinion, and I'm happy to see both AC and PD do well in the region.

1. Turkish is unfortunately very inconsistent - they are known for swapping planes all the time. Plus they have many different varieties of seats so your specific aircraft has a big impact on the "hard product" you will experience. I was aware of this, so we were disappointed but still OK. Next time we will go for more guaranteed product since then we don't have to worry. (This trip was points, so we are not out any money for the aircraft change luckily!)

2. Hahaha yes, this is a common North American slang term to express excitement and happiness. Like "Hooray" -- if I say "first class baby!" this is just me exclaiming it with excitement and a big smile.

The TK seat was nearly flat, but not horizontal, and we were in a bad state health-wise so we weren't ready to cut it any slack.

I think you're right about Asiana: http://www.google.com/images?q=asiana+livery

Thanks for posting a well written report, I especially like your blog with pictures - wish I know how to do that.

Re: TG F seat, those weren't actually "old seats". They are about 3 years old only, whereas a typical airline seat last about 6~10 years before being replaced by the next generation. Prior to this model however, TG F seat was pretty bad even Thailand's government officials didn't want to fly their own national carriers. TG has always lagged behind when it comes to hard product development.
