The 23min flight that took 60
Being based over on the westcoast (Seattle), I don't get the opportunity to fly on regional jets that much. I feel that they are a hit and miss. I feel the smaller the aircraft, the closer you get to the flying experience, which is good. However CRJ's have issues with window line up and I always seem to have a sore neck before take off.
I recently took a US Airways Express from Tucson to Phoenix (with America West interior) and the flight was supposed to only take 23min, but took 60. Taxi and take off took twice as long as the flight -- quite annoying.

Even though it is not too professional having the America West interior, it sure was a treat for an airline nerd!

It was reported on US Airways forum, that Mesa is (was?) under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and there is (was?) no way for US to push Mesa to update the interior... IIRC all mainline aircraft are upgraded to US Airways interiors. Last time I saw AWA interior on B737 was in February 2010.
