Alone on a flight?
I'm wondering if other FTers has been alone (or with partner) on a flight, except for crew?
I have had that experience twice, within two months, although it wasn't rev. flights.
I worked as a mechanic (for 2 months
) for a airline that operates various Dash 8 aircrafts, and were on two occasions away from base to fix/check aircraft before flying them home. One was abroad and the other domestic, on both return flights were there only the crew, a technician (or 2) and me aboard the plane.
Have other FTers been alone on a flight, rev or non-rev?
Sorry if this is the wrong sub-forum, or if this has been asked before

Where I am flying alone without need any assistance. I will handle on it myself. I am acknowledgement very good airlines safety rules. Sometime that I need fly with other relatives. I remember where I flown to Italy alone to see my brother to getting married in FLR. This is private ceremony for both my brother & sister-in-law, too. It was so much enjoyable the entire trip out of USA.
This time where I am flying alone to ZRH sometime on December 2009. I am flying in the J class. This is so much more comfortable to get sleep on the plane. I have been done it for many times where I am flying alone without need any assistance. This is taking my own responsbilities to make sure need to catch the flight on-time performance. Sometime if my flight is delayed and I have my cell phone along with me. If I will have any case of emergencies.

Thank you clacko. Do you have a link?
@N830MH: I think you have misunderstood what I meant. I was thinking if someone else has ever been alone abord a plane without any other pax, just you (including a partner/colleague/other) and the crew.
The title might be a little misleading.

Here is one thread. Found another. Gotta love the google search feature. I searched for "emptiest flight" by the way. I know there is a more recent one, but can't find it right now.

Yes, several threads out there, but Search seems to be flaky (couldn't find "double" in the Marriott forum despite the ongoing double night credit promo).
I was all alone with Captain/FO/3 FA's on a USAir 737 from BWI-CLT a couple of years ago. There were storms, delays, etc., all day long - somehow I was the only one that made it to the airport and still wanted to fly that leg.
I took my favorite 2D seat (yes, I was upgraded
) and the FA/Pilot address me by name as the went through all the announcements. I felt obligated to actually pay attention to the safety briefing.

While not quite alone, I always enjoy telling this story.
September, 2000 - HPN-BOS on an AA SF3. Eight passengers were on board, seven of whom were my family. I felt REALLY sorry for that other passenger haha.

Yes, this has been discussed several times.
Back when UAX still flew out of VIS, I was the only passenger on an EMB more than once for the 17 minute hop to FAT. I mentioned to the FA once that it was kind of strange and she came back and sat by me to chat. Since I was in 9B, she DID do the whole exit row spiel as required.

There were the standard 3 FA's as required - 1 for every 50 seats, regardless of actual passenger load.
But when drinks/snacks were offered, it was the same person as did the announcement, so they stuck to their "assigned cabins". All 3 of them mostly sat and chatted/read through the flight.

Several years ago LGA-SYR I was the only passenger. Felt really strange. A few months ago my wife and I flew also LGA-SYR and there was only one other passenger. Both were on US rackety, shaky turboprops.
