Missing the final piece of an itinarary, AGAIN
HI This is an old topic but I have this issue because I have already done this to KLM.
The scenario is that I am flying to Frankfurt on one airline. Then I am going Frankfurt to Tel Aviv, via Amsterdam. So its that cityhopper to Amsterdam, then a Boeing 737.
On the return, I would just as soon, get out in Amsterdam and take a train later in the day to Frankfurt. I will be sure to have only carry on.
My question is that I have already done this to them a couple of years ago. The penalty was non existent, just no miles for the final piece, fair enough,
Do you think they would did out that record if I did it again?
It is conceivable that one is making such merry in Amsterdam, that you just forget the time and miss your flght after all.

As has been noted on FT many times, there should be no problem dropping the final leg. If you were doing it every a week over many, many months so that the airline would notice a clear pattern emerging, then they might chase you up on it and there are cases if this happening. However, skipping the final segment every so often is highly unlikely to cause a problem.
