Key Largo FL

Who flies into Key Largo? I've searched expedia and DL.com but neither recognizes the KYL airport code.

According to www.airnav.com:

1. Key Largo does not have scheduled airline service.

2. It has one, privately-owned airport, whose identifier is 07FA.

3. There is no U.S. airport with an identifier of "KYL" at present. (Identifiers can change over time, especially if an airport gains or loses scheduled service.)

Here are details of 07FA:

Were you perhaps thinking of Key West (EYW), or Marathon (MTH)?

Amps, as far as I know there is no airport/runway at Key largo. The old runway was sold and the owner sold Building lots along the " runway"

There is a runway / airport about 20 miles north Ocean Reef That may be where you are looking for.

I used to fly air taxi out of Opa Locka in the 80's but things have changed.

I would suggest you call whomever you are going to visit in Key Largo area and ask them.

Or, call up a Air Taxi service in Miami area.

If someone is trying to get to Key Largo, (groovin to Kokomo ) MIA probably would be the best airport IMHO to get there... however, if someone doesn't mind flying on a Cessna Caravan there is seasonal air service on CO carrier Cape Air from RSW to MTH... (I almost flew this... but I would not have been eligible for any AS miles )

MTH does also have several car companies for the couple flights a day. I recall seeing Thrifty there in March, and I think Budget was there too... but not certain. Depending on how far down the Keys the OP wanted to go... MTH could be a good entry point (not sure how long until the roadwork is done)...
