First post: PDX - LIM, best FF program options?
I will be making 4 or 5 trips from Portland to Lima, Peru in the next few months. I'm trying to figure out what FF program might be beneficial for this itinerary. So far all I've found are:
There's got to be a better option... doesn't there?
Any suggestions?
- Horrific connections on Continental, taking 24+ hours, or
- Decent connections through LAX on LAN Airlines, which seems to have no FF program or affiliation whatsoever

Have you looked at American Airlines? They partner with LAN (they're both part of oneworld), although to get 100% mileage you do need to be careful of the fare class you book.

What about Alaska?

They're a partner with both American and LAN. And you get EQM's on both (usually...you may want to check the restrictions on Alaska's website that I posted).
Plus, PDX is an Alaska hub with 6 direct flights to LAX.
