Hi there, I'm a newbie who flies only once a year. I'm trying to book a fare that has a 90-day maximum stay restriction and a $200 after departure penalty where child/infant discounts apply (I'm traveling with a lap child). Here are the rules from ITA although my ticket is cheaper, but the rules match:

Does the infant discount mean I would have to pay $220 total (not $400) to make changes? I use a booking website that has really cheap fares but the vendors on the phone always pull up the wrong fare, give me wrong info and quit before I can contact them again!

Yes. The way I read the rules, the infant discount % on the change fee is the same as the infant discount % on the fare itself. Therefore, you would get a 90% discount on the change fee for the infant. Since the adult change fee is $200, the infant change fee would be 10% of that and the total cost to change both would be as you calculate - $200 + $20.

Thank you! The phone salesperson insisted it'd be $400 (and thus wanted to sell me different, more expensive tix). I really appreciate it.
