Has anyone flown with Baboo, a Swiss low fare airline? They have the cheapest flight and shortest (one hour) flying Nice to Venice? Would appreciate hearing about good, bad or indifferent experiences with this airline. Our other option is to take a train but it is 8+ hours. Any advice?

To be honest, I had never even heard of that airline before.

I know this message is quite old now but I can anyway answer it. Baboo is a Swiss based regional airline. It has 2 Dash8-Q400 and 3 Embraer 190. They also have a mini hub in NCE serving Venice, Geneva and Athens. They do have cheap fare but are no low cost. They have a great service on board and very attentive and smart looking cabin crew. Flights to VCE are operated with the Dash and flights to GVA and ATH with the Embraer. They also offer some other destinations from NCE but with a short connection in GVA. All aircrafts are brand new (less than 2 years for the dash and a few months for the embraer).
The service offered on board is comparable to what Crossair used to do (if you used to know Crossair).
The best would be also to go directly to their website which is : www.flybaboo.com
