If I ever fly business or first class, I'll just bring my own PJ's on board and change into them the minute I step foot on the plane. I'll also be sure to bring my fuzzy slippers too.
As far as caring what people think, I'm too mature for that. I've been known to walk around the streets of Manhattan in my PJ's (quick trip to Duane Reade to pick something up) and take out the trash in my indoor slippers. I walk around my house in PJ's, so that's what I'm going to be wearing if I'm traveling for a prolonged period of time. |
I usually get changed into something comfortable after the seatbelt sign has turned off when the flight has levelled off at it's cruising altitude. It allows me to be comfortable throughout drink, food service, etc.
|
I love my PJs and would go to work in them if I could, but I always travel in stretchy pants, t-shirt and slip on shoes so I don't really need to change to be comfortable.

Hi,
If time allows ( ie one of the first to board) then I will change into them before the doors are closed ( but keeping my shoes on until we are airbourne in case of the rare event of having to evacuate the aircraft. If I have been in the lounge and get on board just before the doors close then I will wait until after take off and the seatbelt signs go off. I will change back into clothes after breakfast and just prior to descent. I have received PJs on BA F and VS Upper class. Regards TBS |
