Round the world ticket

Hi everyone!

I have recently been reading about the ability to book an around the world ticket. What is the approximate cost of a ticket like this? How many countries or flights are you allowed? Can it all be done in F class? Can it be done by various airlines? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Depends on where go and what the local taxes there are. How long is a piece of string ??

How many countries or flights are you allowed?
Depends on the ticket rules. Many combinations are possible

Can it all be done in F class?
Yes, but F routes are becoming fewer and many routes do not have F

Can it be done by various airlines?
Yes. Depends on the ticket rules.

See the OneWorld forum & Star Alliance forum for RTW products offered. Many others available marketed by airlines or Travel Agents

rtlaw, take a look in the following forums,

oneworld
Skyteam
Star Alliance

At the top of all of them are 'Sticky' threads with all the info you'll need for now, lots of reading. The different alliances use different systems for constructing RTW tickets, and you'll find that info in those threads too.

They're not the sum total of RTW's available but they'll give you a good education.
