A bottle of cologne from Germany to Turkey...
Is there anybody going from the EU (preferrably Germany) to Turkey who would be willing and able to carry a (boxed) little bottle of cologne with them and dispatch it at the next post office there?
Don't worry, this has nothing to do with contraband, drugs or any other kind of shady business, you could even open box and bottle (30ml, < 20EUR) and take a look/sniff. The thing is, I am trying to get this bottle of cologne to a friend in Istanbul as a present, and after I bought it I learned that if I sent it internationally by mail/parcel service it had to be shipped as "dangerous goods", which is generally outrageously expensive or even impossible with some carriers.
However, if a traveller put it in their suitcase with their personal belongings, there would be no problem at all, unless there was another half litre of perfume in this suitcase...
Within Turkey it could then be regularly transported by the local postal service PTT.
If you see a possibility to assist please PM me. I would of course cover all expenses related to this, and - if you can use them - I'd offer two Europcar upgrade vouchers as a little token of my gratitude.
Regards,
Stefan

You could just try sending more than one (in separate packages). I've mailed SQ amenity kits (which contain a small bottle of cologne) around the world. Only once was it intercepted and stopped.
