Travel agent margins?
When you are asking the margin - are you working with a travel agent that uses a consolidator or tour operator, independent travel agent, or an employee of a travel agency? It makes a huge difference in the answer....

On a typical ticket, without any high-volume override program, the commission is $0. If it is a net/consolidator fare, it could be a fixed $ sum (that will vary). If it is a very high volume agency, there may be a commission override contract with the airline - it may be a couple of percent, it could be as high as 10% (but extremely uncommon).

For tickets sold in the US, a few airlines pay commissions on full J or F fares, and not many still do that. There are side deals cut with big volume agencies for premium traffic, and some set fees for consolidator fares or AIs/packages. Otherwise, nada.
In other countries, however, different conditions apply.
