Middle name question
I was reading some older posts about the use of a middle name on tickets...but felt my question was a little different.
I will be going from atlanta to the Ukraine soon, and my tickets are only Familyname/Firstname, no middle name. But my US passport has the middle name.
I know this is not a problem to simply get on the plane, but will this cause a problem at Ukrainian passport control?

Thank you so much for your reply. I feel better know knowing this should not be a problem. I just remembered that when I went last time, the middle name was included, but from what I can remember, this is not even standard practice...
And to tell the truth I don't remember if the border control agent even looked at my tickets...

My tickets never have my middle name.
My passport does, of course.
I travel a lot outside my home country. In fact, this is being posted from the other side of the world.
As just posted by cordc, immigration agents don't look at tickets. If one ever does, he or she will have no problem concluding that the ticket is yours.
No worries.

Twice in the USA I had a problem getting through the first security podium-- the one where they check your ID and your boarding pass-- just before the X-ray screening.
DL has my name in their system such that my middle initial is appended to the end of my first name: Firstm. e.g, if my name were James K. Polk, my ticket reads: Polk/ Jamesk
The TSA person at the podium caused a stink because my first name on my driver's license didn't match the ticket exactly, despite the obvious fact that the last letter on the ticket was my middle initial (my middle name is on my license). There is no way in the world my first name with middle inital appended could ever be construed as a different first name entirely, even accounting for the "creative" spellings of some African-American names.
After about 5 minutes of arguing with the person, he just let me through. And this happened twice!
