Where can we go?

It's dead in my office this week, so I'm thinking about taking a week (perhaps Friday through next Saturday) to get away with Mrs. PTravel. This has to be a dead-cheap trip, preferably all on miles and hotel points, meaning there should be availability on no notice.

We're game for anywhere in the world.

Any suggestions?

I would avoid Pakistan.

How about New Zealand? Of course purchasing a ticket would cost $10K on UA, so likely award availability is light. Always wanted to go there, though, and it's summer.

Considering your programs, you'd be better off with advice from people on the United board, methinks.

It would be helpful to know what programs and the rough amount of points/miles you hold. It also would be helpful to know if you prefer to fly Y, C, or F.

What about Bali? Beautiful weather, wonderful people, cheap. I'd check EF for you, but I don't know what the fare codes are for UA.

Recommended hotel: Conrad Hilton, Nusa Dua.

If you're from L.A., does a drive to Vegas do the trick?

Hong Kong. UA flies there, you could stay at the Sheraton Kowloon.
