Packing List website suggestions

My mother is traveling for the first time in probably 20 years. Does anyone have suggestions for an online packing list (domestic travel, non adventure), straightforwad packing list, preferably for women?

I'm not sure about a list in general, although I've seen lists of various things in the women's forum.

There's all sorts of packing tips and tricks for women (including stuff about make up that can be in your handcarry luggage) in various threads.

Hope your mom enjoys her flight, whatever she packs!

My personal favourite favourite book is Smart Packing by Susan Foster. The website also contains a packing list for women & men. The tips in the book are invaluable!

I like www.packinglight.com. (Use the "packing method" link under "Help Center" at the bottom of the page.)

The system they use was developed by Warren and Gussie Holloway. Gussie could do a month out of one carryon easily, and look very fashionable doing it. They started a travel store serving the Sacramento area, which is now operated by their son Jon. Though Gussie passed away some years ago, the system has a life of its own.
