Airline Lounge Programs
Hi,
I fly a lot but unfortunately not always the same airline, I was curious if anyone belonged to any programs that allow you access to multiple airline lounges? Have you found it worth it?
Thanks,
Frank

I have a Priority Pass and enjoy it quite a bit. Several different levels of membership available, depending upon your travel frequency and needs.

You don't mention which airlines you typically fly, but if you're often on Skyteam airlines, there's good reciprocal lounge access memberships. NW Worldclubs membership, for example, gives you access to Continental President's Clubs and Delta Crown Rooms.

A CO/NW pass will get you into CO/NW/DL/AS clubs. Also, the CO/NW/AS clubs will actually get you a drink. Other clubs, such as AA or UA, are pretty much a joke and make you pay a 'nominal fee' AKA full bar price for this. Both airlines have FF programs which pretty much limit the benefits for domestic fliers and focus their efforts on their international ones.
I'd suggest getting a NW membership and stick to flying NW/CO/AS/Delta. That should give you enough major airlines who are partners to work on elite status, getting miles into one program and not waste money on a lounge membership that will screw you out of $5 every time you want a beer.

If you have (high enough) status with an non-US based airline generally you have lounge access whenever flying within their alliance (except from airports which have no alliance lounge). This includes travel within USA.

Only for OW and *A. Doesn't work for ST with the exception of FB (and this doesn't apply if you live in U.S/Mexico).
