What if they had a hetero only flight? Would that be wrong?

It is gay-themed, not gay-only. Pretty much every other flight in the world is hetero-themed.

No flight is "hetero" themed...normal flights are normal themed. I don't want a drag queen dancing in the aisles anymore than your average gay wants a pole dancing chick strutting around.

Why can't we just have calm normality in the skies?

No flights is hetero themed currently. Unfortunately Hooters Air no longers flights. Each flight had flight attendants supplemented by 2 Hooters hostesses

To be honest most of the gay people I know would find it over the top however since it's a flight for the mardi gras it makes sense. No different to flights aimed at other major events like football games etc.

NZ has had a few themed flights trans-tasman, but AFAIK this is the first themed longhaul flight.

Only if the flight was limited to hetero only, which this flight clearly is not limited to homo only. Nice try.

Except for the advance publicity, this isn't going to be very different from any of the other flights from the US to Sydney in the days leading up to Mardi Gras.

Skylady...No flight is called "hetero-themed" and caters to heteros regardless of who is allowed on. I say live and let live but this is stupid. Sexuality is a moot point when traveling by air...it simply doesn't factor in.

If you are saying every day normal flight ops are somehow 'hetero' and excluding gays then you have issues that a message board won't fix.

gay-themed?

Um, I didn't know there was a gay theme. Are these really popular? It seems to me that if anything more gay people would be offended by the stereotype, no?
