Using seatcounter.com correctly

Recently I found out about seatcounter.com but am not sure how to use it. Are the seats classified by the first letter designation on my ticket? Example: on US Airways an Envoy class is designated as 'D' Class and a first class ticket is a 'Z' class. However there seems to be an entire alphabet of ticket classes so I am not sure I am assuming correctly. Can anyone give me a bit of help?

Is this post considered Travel Technology?

Use Google or Wikipedia on the subject "airline fare class" and you can find a bunch of information
