Question EY or AI

I have a choice flying DEL-YYZ on either EY or AI both in J.
Which carrier would you choose and why?
Your comments will help my decision!!

thanks

My personal recommendation is to avoid Air India at all costs. That aside, Etihad is a new airline, so the planes will be new. Supposed to be pretty nice, too.

Edited to add: Sorry, just saw the J part, but I'd still avoid Air India. The few times I've been on it (which were, in fairness, a long time ago), I didn't care for the service. A friend just flew AI in J a few months back and said it wasn't that nice, either.

Greetings wali,

This is OMNI, so I have suggested the thread be moved elsewhere....

Not much of a decision IMHO. Stay off the flying carpet! (Wasn't that Air India's advertising slogan back in the 19070s?)

Is that some funky Hindu calendar you're using?

I would also recommend staying away from them. Of course, for some reason *A thinks that they are just fine, and will be joining sooner or later.
