Fresh Fruit on F Class
Hello, all...I am not sure sure where to post this.....Please move to appropriate forum...
I enjoy the fresh fruit on JAL and Air India First Class...Both airlines seem to be able to provide the freshest of fruits. An indivdual cart serving of whatever is in season...I hope you all enjoy as well!! Cheers!!

SK too, in reasonable amounts in C -- just love their "mini-bar", and the fact that the FAs do not frown when I grab a big handful and go back to my seat to munch, rather than to nibble on one fruit-item at the time
The SK "mini-bar" seems to be a little used amenity, btw. I almost never cross other PAX there. The good thing is, that it features a cappuccino-machine that makes a decent brew

Yes, I'd love to see far better fruit selections on European airlines.
I remember accidentally ending up in F on a TG 744 BKK-HKG and, having already eaten, ordered fruit for breakfast on-board. I have never seen anything like it: the fruit platter came with the fruit (pineapple, mango, melon) intricately carved into the forms of flowers. I felt guilty eating it, rather than framing it.

And I have very fond memories of a golden kiwi fruit-based breakfast on SQ, somewhere approaching London. Amazing how such details can stick with you and enhance your impression of an airline!

Interesting to see we all have our favourites when it come to fresh fruit. I still l have to say AI and JAL have the most complete fresh fruit trays offered via the cart service. The tray presented on my recent TG flight ZRH/BKK was very weak...everything was watery and discoloured... CX and SQ have decent individual course offerings for breakfast. However, I still enjoy the full fruit offerings provided by JL and AI...being able to select exactly what I want....prepared pineapple, kiwi, pomelo, strawberries, raspberry, mongut, peaches, etc...SIA and ANA offers fruit...but you have to ask for the fruit to be prepared...I am always hesitant to ask for that as I make a mess. I would never even think of asking for that on a north american carrier....
