Question Maxjet cancelled all flights?

MY 101 STN-JFK 7/5 canceled, 7/6 canceled.
MY 100 JFK-STN 7/5 canceled, 7/6 canceled.

MY 701/711 STN-LAS 7/5 operated
MY 702/710 LAS-STN 7/5 unknown, no sign of operation using all flight status tools.
(7/7 flights says "on-time")

MY 201 STN-IAD 7/5 canceled, 7/6 canceled.
MY 200 IAH-STN 7/5 canceled, 7/6 canceled.

I only just read it on a.net. None of the news sources have anything, unlike all the press it gives Maxjet when it started operation. Someone on a.net says it has mechanical problem on one or both of the 762.

Also, flightaware.com shows that 200/201 IAD has been running with 752, and even 738, on many days. And Maxjet doesn't have those planes, so they must have been chartering other jets.

Okay, the LAS-STN on 7/5 diverted to YQX (Gander) after having mechanical problem over northeast Quebec or northern Labrador.

The other plane was spotted at ATL. It ferried from STN to ATL, then flew ATL-MAN-NBO. According to someone on a.net, it was a private charter by Falcons owner Arthur Blank.

Interesting, to say the least...

Wow - really makes you rethink booking Maxjet, doesn't it?

In my book, they are clearly in the same category as Flyglobespan.

Which part is not? The part about who's chartering the ATL flight is from a.net. I will not take that as fact, and that's why I specifically give out the source.

The JFK, and IAD cancellations are straight from maxjet.com, and I also didn't find those flights operating on flightaware.com.

The LAS-YQX diversion is confirmed on flightaware.com:

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/MXJ710

If I have the wrong flight number listed above, my apologies. But the flight origins and destinations are all correct.

If you have other information, we'll all benefit from hearing them.

Wow, MaxJet really needs to get their act together. We were booked on MY701 on 6/16 and suffered a 9 hour delay, a stop in Iceland (they had to bring on their non long range version flight over to LAS, so we needed a fuel stop), and a midnight arrival into LAS.

Received a reply from them. They'd cover expenses we incurred as a result and they passed along a non-transferable $500 travel voucher on MaxJet. Only problem is that we'd be hard pressed to fly them again after that delay...

Canceling all their flights? Well that's just a kicker...

Based on their current schedule - 6x weekly JFK, 4x LAX, 4x LAS, it can be done with just two planes if everything goes well. But according to planespotters.net they have 3 762s in the fleet now, so it really shouldn't be this bad.

But anyways, their three 762ERs were originally delivered in 1984, 1985 and 1988. Average over 21 years old.

In all honesty, as long as the planes were refurbished completely, delivery dates are just statistics.

Old planes can be refurbished and work just as new. I'd hope that this was done prior to their delivery to Maxjet but I have no idea if that was.

Any idea if canceled flights are reflected anywhere in the "flightontime" numbers? They should think about that additional metric if it isn't factored in to their numbers already.
