What country and what kind of travel do you use it for?
You should know that many air carriers take the general requirement that passports not be damaged very seriously and will deny boarding when they find damage even in situations where it is beyond unlikely that the destination country would deny entry.
What may seem "slight" to you may not be slight to a staff member somewhere.
