How to book without travelagent?
This may call up a simply answer I dont expect, however now that im not using a TA for work. I need assistance. How do you book multiple airlines on one int?
JLN-MCI (mesa) US
MCI-CLE AA
CLE-MCI AA
MCI-JLN (mesa) US
Thanks
Also: what is the easiest way to find these kind of flights? US is only option to MCI, but once @ MCI I wish to use AA for CLE.
or airports around CLE that can make this work trip easier
AND not fly on CR7's

Im sorry, I figured by posting on FT, one would assume that I knew of these sites. This is obviously how I found the connecting flights. I however do not want the hidden costs associated with these online ticket agents.

what exactly this started as, was my company wants us to not use there travel agent anymore due to high cost and etc. I understand that AAA is a travel agent so I guess I should have said something like "anyone know a free TA that doesent charge crazy fees"

I'd say try booking everything yourself by spending many hours on a phone and online, and being sure to try to make sure all the dots connect before you commit to anything you have to. AA flighst can often be held whereas others need your money then and there and will only refund if you cancel within say 24hrs. It's a lot of dialing and time in a home office or late after work, but it can be done by self.
good luck!

Continental flies 737's into Cleveland from Newark and Houston. Airtran flies into CAK (Akron Canton) and they only fly 717's and 737's. Frontier also flies into CAK and their entire fleet is airbus. There are options but none of them may be convenient if you're starting your trip from JLN.

AAA will book for free? I inquired with them once and they quoted a booking fee so high I laughed in their face.

There are still some things that a travel agent can do that I miss in the online booking engines. Probably the biggest thing is being able to book different legs in different classes -- for example, booking F one way and J the other is something that no online setup I know supports (they will often offer it is J is sold out in one direction, for example, but you can't easily define "do it this way, period").
