Talking Typo in the US customs declaration form

Here's the customs declaration form I got while on board my most recent flight to the States, bout a week ago...

Note that the word "Passport" is written as "Passeport" (items 5 and 6) There must be some french guy working there

Don't get me wrong, I love french... It just strikes me as odd when I see typos in official US government documents. Pretty ridiculus and sloppy.

Wow, what a catch! I just flew on an international flight a week ago and didn't notice! I wonder how many forms have this error.

Got one sitting on my dresser from last week and it is spelled correctly.

I'll check this afternoon... I guess you flew LH to the US, maybe LH got a whole bunch of the typo version

it was LX

that might explain the french flavor
