Help - flight disappeared

Hey,

Little problem here. I happened to log into EI (Aer Lingus)'s My Reservations, and I now notice this:

AMERICAN AIRLINES AA1744 SAN FRANCISCO - Apr 17 2007, 1100 CHICAGO/OHARE - Apr 17 2007, 1715 Economy
AMERICAN AIRLINES AA1904 SAN FRANCISCO - Apr 17 2007, 1120 CHICAGO/OHARE - Apr 17 2007, 1725 Economy
AER LINGUS EI124 CHICAGO/OHARE - Apr 17 2007, 1900 DUBLIN - Apr 18 2007, 0830 Economy

--

Now, problem is.. that my original flight (departing 11am) seems to have dissapeared altogether. Fair enough, I take it they've rebooked me into 1904. However, when I check AA.com (to see what aircraft), this flight doesn't even exist. Any ideas? Should I contact EI and see what's going on. It's only by chance I happened to check...

The AA website is undergoing maintenance right now so I can't check there, but the flight does exist on another reputable site I checked:

AA 1904 0 SFO 04/17/07 11:20 AM ORD 04/17/07 05:25 PM 757

So I take it I'm not on the original flight at least. Surprised EI haven't contacted me about it yet!

It's probably just a flight that had the flight number changed, as 1744 doesn't even show on today's schedule. 1904 goes SFO-ORD-MIA. AA regularly adjusts flight times 15-20 minutes in either direction, so nothing really new there.

Indeed. Looks like AA has 'renumbered' some flights -- AA 1744 now goes DEN-DFW-GSO:
