I thought about buying one for home, but (like most folks) we have tile in the bathroom.
How did you all install it? Were you nervous about cracking the tiles? |
Me also.

I personally like them since many hotel bath/showers are so small that there is no way to avoid having the nasty curtain touching me when they aren't curved.

Curved shower rods seem to be the latest rage in newer or renovated hotels. Personally I don't like them, because making the shower area more roomy makes it colder. Anyone else feel the same way?

I like 'em too!:)

You can get tile drilling bits for under $10, use those to get through the tiles, then a regular bit to sink a hole for the ancors to hold the screws.

Wow...a three page thread on a Sunday. I guess the fact I'm in the minority proves the hotels did good market research before rolling these curved shower rods out.

A wonderful idea. The person how invented the nice-but-simple curved shower rod should be nominated for a Nobel Prize.

Love 'em, for the aforesaid reasons (mainly so the skanky curtain is not sticking to me as I shower).
It would appear that you are in the distinct minority. |
Add another one to the "luv em but prefer glass"
it's the exhibitionist in me, I'm sure... hurlimann |
I love 'em too.
I think you can buy them though Hampton Inn as well. |
