Beat This -- 3 trips -- 0 miles earned
By the end of jan, I will have taken three trips all of which will earn me 0 miles with none of the alliances:
Jan 3rd -- flew WN ELP-DFW -- earned RR credits but no miles per se...
Jan 16-19 -- CJS-BJX on Avaicsa Airlines -- same as WN -- collect 5 R/T get a free R/T ticket -- no miles ..no alliance
Jan 23-31 -- ELP-GRU -- award ticket on DL J --no miles earned...
But at the same time, I will earn a ton of PC points which will make me PLAT by March end....
so, it is kind of like golf...lowest score wins

Is this in the right place (mileage run forum)?
In any case many opportunities for non-mileage earning flights - many airlines have no FFP participation, and even some of those that do have no mileage earning on the cheapest fares.

It's not as if you didn't earn anything; indeed you earned some kind of credit on two of three flights.
Tens of thousands of nonrevs "beat" this every day. This is not exceptional, and probably is posted in the wrong place anyway.

With apologies to the crowd in TravelBuzz, who understandably are feeling like their home is a dumping ground... Since this is technically travel related, so it doesn't get banished to OMNI, TravelBuzz is the only place I can think to move it. Only thing I'm certain of is that it has nothing to do with Mileage Runs, so it certainly shouldn't have been posted in the Mileage Run forum...
Off to the Buzz it goes.

I had a whole convention in Phoenix that was "pointless"
Flew there on Southwest- it was cheapest and was nonstop. I don't fly them enough to get anything out of Rapid Rewards.
Stayed at the Pointe on South Mountain- that's where the meeting was held and if I'd found a Hilton, Marriott, etc. in the area I would have spent too much time driving back and forth.
Charged it all, per company requirements, on the company MasterCard. No benefits there.
Usually I can get some points from some affinity program, but that one was a perfect zero.

Last year, Easyjet BFS-STN more times than I want to remember. Nothing wrong with the service, just nothing earned.
Thank God I have now been saved by Air Berlin starting BHD-STN, so now have Top Bonus points to collect.
