As others have said, Concorde's seat was a cradle type. It was incredibly comfortable and one was only in that seat for a tad over 3 hours.

Of course, the open flow of beverages the entire flight was a nice addition! Besides being a bit 'happy' after a drink or two, other things got your attention and provided a nice diversion, like the Mach meters and listening to the sound of the air (it was more of a sizzle sound than what one hears on a subsonic).

I'm not the only one who has compared the CRJ to the Concorde. I've been known to imagine that I'm on a Concorde when, in fact, I'm on a CRJ. It eases the pain for a moment!

Anyone recall the thurst during takeoff in the Concorde? Something I will never forget on the only flight I took on that powerful bird.
