Spring Break 2007
My spring break runs from March 16th-25th. Anyone have good recommendations for a destination? Warm places are a +.
If you were to choose Y tickets, mid-range hotels, + some expenses, where would you suggest for a resonable price?
I know this is a really broad/general question but I wanna see if I get get some ideas of where and the accompanying cost per person. (think 2 people.)

Rio de Janeiro!
From LA I have paid anything from $600 to $900 including all taxes. You can find comfortable hotel from Ipanema for around $100 per night. Flights to/from are overnight that is a big plus.

My favorite spring break trip was to Las Vegas; I spent half the week by the pool, which was great recovery from winter.
Cheap hotel rooms are not terribly hard to find, particularly if you Priceline. And I know from another thread that you are turning 21 sometime in March; but I was 20 when I went and still had an amazing time. (I flew into LAX that time and we drove from there, so dunno about plane tickets, but I'm sure you can find something reasonable.)

It's the low season there, so hotels and things are cheap, the snow is still good so you can ski, snowmachine, dogsled, or whatever else sounds exciting. There are plenty of indoor heated pools, and if you head up to Fairbanks, they have a number of natural hot springs. March is the best month (along with September) for aurora viewing.
If Alaska isn't your thing, there are some good airfares to SJU (San Juan, Puerto Rico) available ($200 or so per person). Hotels via priceline are being quoted at $100-$150 for *** resorts.
Wherever you go, have fun!

Oooh, I love the idea of a Vegas spring break! Especially if you're just turning 21; you'll have a balst!
I'm moving this over to TravelBuzz! where I'm sure there will be lots of ideas as well.

I always seem to do Europe for spring break, but after going to Hawaii on a MR in December, I decided that I really miss the beach. So, I'm thinking maybe somewhere in the Caribbean, even though I'm sure it's a crazy time to go there. Other problem with the Caribbean is not enough miles! OK, I might just be back in Europe again... gotta keep the priorities straight.
