Which country's people show the most optimism from your travelling experiences?

it used to be people were driven by the american dream. now it has ceased to exist - what other place now demonstrate the biggest confidence and rising hope in future?

when I went to Hungary i noticed a lot of optomism... they were going to join the EU, economic conditions were improving, etc. plus the hungarians were really pleasant people, and the ones that i ran into really enjoyed tourists and wanted to show them the "best" of their country

Great question by the OP!

I find that the people living on the odd numbers between 17 and 35 of Ramilles Close, London SW2 to be extremely optimistic. I hope that answers your question.

I am optimistic that we will soon see an end to trollish threads, and I live in Calgary. One vote for Canada!

As a Canadian, I used to repeatedly defend the USA to my 'red' Canadian friends and relatives. Now I've gone quiet - I'm just disappointed to watch what appears to be the erosion of constitutional rights, the apparent increase in influence of the religious right, and the inability of the 'silent majority' to do anything about it.

I now turn my sights on the EU, and continue to have hope for my home country of Canada.

Cheers,

There is little optimism here in Taiwan that the OP will do anything other than start threads. 8 threads started out of 8 posts....

I just wanted to say to everyone that (greenery) is not posting under any other name. So I had nothing to do with the OP.

I think the best country, with hopes for the future, is Canada.

Q. Which country's people show the most optimism from your travelling experiences?

A. When I get down to paying for my travel experiences, all people seem about equally optimistic

Which location? In Disneyland Paris they stop singing after 2 seconds. I think they must be the happiest.

Great question by the OP!

I would have to say The Kingdom of Caring, which is made of Care-a-lot, and the Forest of Feelings.
