Mine have been generally positive. They may still have some nitpicking (flaky Internet connections, water so strongly chlorinated it ruined the coffee made in room) but usually my comments are specific enough that people can decide if that particular problem is a deal-breaker for them.

I just reserved a room in Bruges at the Prinsenhof and in skimming the reviews I don't think I found a single bad one.

But I have to admit, caustic reviews are more fun to write.
