The answer for any airline is no they won't be so gullible. They ask for proof if they do matches, a lot don't, and I doubt DL would care much about Air Korea.

The OP is looking for status with Avis ..and apparently DL.
Not sure why there is a posting here on the AA forum.
Especially since AA does not have Status Matches .. and a search would reveal that.....
I do not think a US airline would care what status you have on a foreign carrier .. unless for competitive reasons the US carrier flies similar destinations. It would be like wanting Alaska tier just because you have Emirates status .. no similar routes.
