I'm thinking roadtrip, but even with 2 people its still a 11 hour drive
which will not result in great donuts. (aim is to buy donuts at 1.50 each, and sell for 4 dollars each)
So 30 dollars profit per box.
Cheapest flight is 110 dollars, cheapest mileage earning flight is 180.
So if its air travel i need at least 4 boxes to cover airfare + then transport from home airport to distribution point.
Donut shop is in destination terminal so no costs on that side.

After reading this thread you might have a different take:
AA mechanic claims a 762 contained 900-1000 mice, mostly dead ones

In melbourne there exists a 5 hour wait atm for donuts, black market they are selling for 5+ dollars each.
Brisbane is Krispy Kreme less, there might be money to be made here :-p

$4 AUD, remember our min wage here is around 20 dollars.
so thats 5 donuts per hours work.
In Chicago they were 89 cents each from memory.
And whats min wage in america? 6/7 dolalrs?
so about 7 donuts per hour.
I think the demand exists, allready got got plenty of interest at 2.50 a donut ($30 a box) so maybe i can go for volume > Price.
This all seems alittle far fetched, but it's looking allright to me, but that might be because of the stress of the past week of exams and that i would love the chance to take a few trips to sydney

They wouldn't get crushed in a standard hard-shell suitcase. You ought to be able to get a couple of used ones fairly cheap at a second-hand store. They might get bounced around a bit, so use bubble wrap or something similar (crushed newspapers might do the job) to cushion them. I think they'd arrive in salable condition.
That said, I seem to remember some good donuts last winter (June, to avoid confusion) in one of the food areas below street level off the Queen Street Mall. I'm surprised there's a market for KK in Brisbane, but if you say so...
