Caught cold from FA; would you be angry?
I flew in from Russia three days ago and there was a deathly ill FA sitting next to me in F. She spent half the flight in the lav, removed all the kleenex from it, and coughed and sneezed through the entire flight. One time she sneezed hard enough that I felt my hair blow back.
Today I'm sick. I can't help but think it is from this FA. I know they have to fly just like anyone else, but if I'm paying $2000+ for a first class seat, well... you know where this is going.
Would this upset you? I now get to fly home tomorrow and give this to my kids.

Yes, I would definitely be bothered by this. Knowing myself I would probably have politely asked her to find an empty fair of seats (perhaps in coach) somewhere else on the plane.

She should have been confined to serve in the coach section

Let me elaborate. The reason I said coach was not because I do not think she earns whatever she is entitled to. However, with F being so full these days you'd have more chance finding a couple of empty seats in coach then anywhere else on the plane.
A question to the OP: did she apologize at any time during the flight?
Kind regards,
Maurits

She was flying as a non-rev, probably flying back to base after working (or cutting short her work given her illness). She did repeatedly speak to the F-cabin FA, saying how awful she felt. She spent a long time in the F lav (at least 20 mins at one point, and this is on IAD-BOS). She came back with a huge wad of kleenex and sneezed and coughed.
I felt sorry for her... obviously tired, probably overworked, very very sick. She kept saying, "God I am soooo sick" to the F-cabin FA.
But now I have it... blah.

In fact, I am ill now (as a result of this FA) and I have to travel tomorrow. Traveling with a cold is awful (esp on the ears!).
Like it or not, crew (even off-duty crew) are representing the airline.

I have gotten sick more than once from sick people on planes. Were there any empty seats left in F that you could have moved to? Imagine all the other people that used the same lav she did? They might all be dog sick now too. I hope you feel better.
