Ticket Agent Salaries
Does anyone know the salary range for an airline ticket agent working for a major US carrier at a major US airport? Do agents who work in city offices make more or less than airport ticket agents?

It all depends on how long (seniority) one has worked for the airline but top pay would range about 40-45K per year (more with overtime). Starting salary now would be about half that. City ticket office employees generally make slightly less.

You can look at job postings on the airlines websites. I recently looked at Frontier and they were offering from $9-$10 depending in the city. That's less than $20k/year.
I just looked at a CSR for United and it's $9.47/hour.
When you go to the airline website, look for "About <Airline>", click that link. Then look for Jobs/Employment/Careers. Sometimes it's on the front page, but not usually. This is true for most companies with websites that are more for the public.
