I've noticed that people in the MP forum never seem to get tired of comparing EQM and RDM totals during the year, but most of these seem to be from business flyers who go to a relatively limited number of destinations many, many times in a year. I don't recall seeing any discussions of who has hit the largest number of UA (or *A) airports in a year.
So, here goes: Who can claim the largest number of airport codes (including layovers and MRs) visited in the last 12 months?
My list:
UA:
ORD (home base)
LAX
LGA
SFO
OAK
PHL
COS
IAD
HNL
DCA
PHX
SEA
ANC
LAS
LHR
CMH
*A:
YVR
Other Airlines:
LUT
IOM

The problem is when you have enough time and money to do this, you also feel too old and tired to attempt it, and I am "only" 46....

Not a clue.
I suppose I could go get my MP spreadsheets and somehow extract airport codes and do an advanced filter to extract the codes.
Or I could go get a nice cold one, kick back and relax.
Guess what I'm gonna do?

I have flown to/from 54 different airports in 2005 (not all *A) and 32 different airports in 2004.
So far in 2006 I have flown to/from 16 different airports with a further 11 unique airports (not already visited this year) in the next 3 weeks (and yet more after that).

My past 12 months haven't been that lucritive (18 airports - ABQ BOS DEN FAT FRA IAD JFK LAX MIA NRT OAK ORD SBA SFO SJU SZG TPE YYZ - and ICN can be added on Saturday), but since you didn't restrict your question to commercial flights, my biggest year was 1993 with 41 airports - 3CM 6B6 ACK ARB ASH AYE BAF BED BFD BOS BVY CGF EWB FFO HDH HFD HPN HYA ISP LCI LEB LHR LWM MCO MHT MVY ORH OWD P10 PHX PSF PVD PWM SFO STL TLV TEB TLV TTN TUS YUM - only 6 of which were on commercial flights. My lifetime total is around 160, plus several off-airport locations...
