In the Coral Zone, Guests have the comfort of a 32" seat pitch and 10.4" seatback LCD monitors on each seat. Each seat has a USB port, an RJ 45 socket and power access, allowing them to connect to a laptop and work while they fly.
does RJ 45 mean onboard internet access?

According to this page, Etihad now has Connexion by Boeing service on its daily flights from Abu Dhabi to both London Gatwick and Frankfurt.

So I'm guessing the answer to your question is yes.

I flew LHR to AUH on an Airbus and then AUH to BKK on the 777 aircraft. This did not have ethernet connections that I could find. There was certainly no info on the plane about it either.

The new 777 aircaft have both wired and wireless ethernet provided by Connexions by Boeing.
