Is this a serious question?
-AA or CO mileage run. DFW-STL-DAL on AA or DFW-IAH-DAL on CO. Slow, and fairly expensive. Bonus: 2 EQS and 1000+EQM on either airline.
-Charter flight. VERY expensive.
-Taxi. ~$50.

Taxi's not gonna be 50 bucks. It's like 10 miles... $2.25 drop plus $1.80 a mile and probably 3 bucks in random fees because it's airports and you're looking at $25. I think SuperShuttle does it too but that's a pain.
Alternatively, take the shuttle at DFW to Remote South, take the shuttle from there to the CentrePort Train Station (for the Trinity Railway Express), take the train to Dallas Union Station, walk a couple blocks, and take DART bus #39 to Love Field. $2.25 for the TRE, $1.25 for the Dart Bus... or a Premium day pass is $4.50. Good luck.

One way rental car will be cheaper in all likelihood.

I also took the bus/train/bus route one time but it takes way too long. With the car, I also got to see what was left of GSW (which is practically nothing) on the way to DFW.

"This is a bizarre tale of a massive taxpayer-funded international airport which was plowed under in a mere 20 years after it opened. It is perfect example of politics gone wrong, and incredible levels of wasteful spending. The vast majority of the millions of airline passengers who pass through the present-day Dallas Fort Worth International Airport have no idea of a completely separate airport that once stood on the edge of the current property of DFW."
But back to the original question of how to get from DFW to DAL, here's an interesting quote from the article:
"Don Mackison recalled, In the late 1950's...I boarded a Braniff flight at Love Field, and its first stop was at Amon Carter! There were passengers carrying bags of groceries - on their way home after a day shopping?
