Shower caps??
Ok, I will admit I am bored and sitting in my hotel room.
I was wondering how many people actually use the free shower caps in the WC? have you ever taken one home? I know i have a draw full of shampoo, lotion Etc. I am at the point I only take the better quality ones home with or the ones that Mrs.coldfeet likes to have for trips.

They're actually great for covering items in the refrigerator -- and a lot easier to use than those rolls of plastic wrap. One of the most useful free hotel bathroom amenities (even if I don't use them for their intended purpose), with no risk of spillage and practically weightless.

Ever had one of those mini-bottles of shampoo or lotion leak in your bag on the trip home? Wrap them in the shower cap first and any leak damage will be mitigated. That's why the shower cap is included among the bath amenities, isn't it?

I have filled one with ice and used it as an icebag on tendonitis. I keep a couple handy for that purpose. I don't have enough hair to use it for its intended purpose.

I used to take them home for Mrs SPD who uses them for dying her hair. She also takes them when we go away on holiday and happen to stay in a hotel that doesn't have a shower cap and doesn't have an adjustable shower head.
However we now have a big box of them, as I stay away more times than she dyes her hair

A nice one. I see no point in using them. But a friend of mine was once not allowed into a outdoor swimming pool in France a long time ago without a swimmng cap. He had long hair and maybe they had a problem with that. Had we been staying in a hotel that provided shower caps, the problem wouldve been solved easily.

I always take them. While I rarely use them, I have a friend who does and she always appreciates when I pass them on to her. I usually include them in any of her birthday or holiday presents.
