Have noticed on many occasions premium pax parading down aisles to the "Why" cabins to stretch the legs or may be to reaffirm his luck to be seated in C/F cabin or to watch sheer misery of economy...
I'd find this not worth any attention unless one thing - obviously these rights are not reciprocated. Economy pax wantihg to stretch their legs and venture to C/F cabin will not be welcomed there...
Moreover, even now when all US airlines announce requirement for everybody "to remain in their ticketed cabin", pax going in aft cabins is much easily tolerated than pax going to fore ones.
Why is this? FA regal knee-wobbling in attempt of making premium pax happy? Have anybody seen any FA to tell premium pax "sir you are not supposed to be here (in Y cabin) - please go back to your seat.

This has been discussed before but basically $$$ talks and if I were an airline, my C & F customers would be able to have priority check in lines, lounges, walk the entire plane as as a company I'm trying to make as much $$ as possible.

On a personal note, for the few C & F flyers that do venture, I do think it is more of an ego issue than "I just want to stretch my legs and take a walk" thing as most C & F customers never venture out of their respective cabins.

It depends on the aircraft. On a LAX-EWR flight on a CO 753, in the old 3 row F configuration, where else can one walk? On a BA 744 with 70 seats of NCW, there's enough space for the J pax w/o going to Y.

How about this: for every Y pax who feels that his/her immediate need for the lavatory outweighs the "ticketed cabin" rule, one F/J pax gets to walk the cabin?

As a practical matter, the main cabin on just about any aircraft is much longer than the front cabin(s). If you want to stretch your legs more than a few steps before you have to turn around, you have to "go slumming" - F/J are just too short.

I kinda disagree. On AS 737, F cabin isn't that big... three steps there, and three back, so naturally I tend to walk into Y spaces - don't care, not a show-off, just more space to walk.

As by far most F & C customers do NOT walk into other cabins, when I've flown C or F most others in the cabin do what I do, some knee bends, strecthing w/o taking the slumming walk.

It's just my personal belief that the few who do venture into Y are not just trying to stretch their legs, or else most others who stretch/walk in F & C would be doing the same thing.

Well... couple of times I took a trip around a 747 (minus F section) just to kill time.
I don't think that people do that to show-off. After all, on 99.9% of domestic narrow-bodies and many wides, other people know where you're sitting since they see you as they board.
What I don't like is Y pax giving F/C pax nasty looks as they board...

for sure, either go make some $$ to pay for F/C, get a job that pays for F/C travel, or figure out the particular airline's program one flies to maximize one's opportunity for a F/C upgrade.

As a trans-ocean flyer, I often wander the cabins to stretch out, being 6' 3" and always in need of space to do knee bends, etc. The back of 747s work well of this and I sometimes run into friends wandering from various classes. Given that not walking is not that healthy on 12-14 hour flights, I am surprised to not see more F/J folks out back.

I understand about stretching legs, but what about cited security requirement to remain within ticketed cabin? it is either true requirement and enforced both way or not a requirement and should not be mentioned. 50% enforcement does not make any sense to me.

On a 12 hour flight like IAD-NRT 777 i will walk a couple of times up and down the plane.Showing off is not me but blood clots is what worries me.
