Does anyone know the Laredo TX border hotels?

I need to find a comfortable hotel/motel that has first floor rooms that I can park our car directly in front so that we can carry some heavy pieces of art work into the room and then reload in the morning into a different car....

any thoughts?

I've stayed at the Embassy Suites in Laredo Not sure about outside access to first-floor rooms though.

La Posada is nice hotel, but it won't meet your criteria of parking right in front of your room.

I'd recommend taking a look at Trip Advisor and calling the properties that pique your interest.

Are you looking for an outside room access or just a first floor room? The Hampton Inn has first floor rooms, but no outside room doors. Residence Inn, I think has first floor rooms and it's brand new. Nice for a RI.

My mom lives in Laredo. Let me know and I can ask her if you are interested to know what the hotels are from someone who lives there.

Thanks...ask her what she "thinks" of La Quinta off of 35.... they seem to have rooms that you can park right in front of and said they can guarantee such a configuration for us....

Apparently she doesn't know. She hasn't lived there for long and lives in an apartment so is not concerned about hotels. Sorry.

There is a Courtyard Marriott right off the freeway. I think that would meet your criteria. Parking lot right in front of the hotel. First floor rooms.

FWIW... thanks I tried them.... you must enter through the lobby to get to your room...seems like La Quinta ( free breakfast.... yahoo!) is it.
