in-flight dating?!

I just heard about this for the first time.. http://news.aol.com/topnews/articles...990010&cid=936
check the link... (think it pasted).. some company is pre-assigning singles seats.. hilarious..

Probably not good for a long flight if the date goes wrong, or the guy you are set up with is a sleezy perv and suggests taking it to the lav!! I will have to look out for this at work.. maybe the company will hire flight attendants to market this inflight.. hee hee.

Sounds kind of practical given the amount of time some people spend flying.. but not very romantic.. bright cabin lighting,,, crap food...

I have seen a few couples meet and hit it off in-flight.

would anyone here do this??

I would not b/c I am happily married. Btw, I believe the guy who started the in-flight-meeting site is a FTer who posted about the business earlier this week.

There are several threads along those and similar lines in the CommunityBuzz forum. The one most directly related to your question is The FlyerTalk Business Exchange Forum.
