RIU Resorts
Hello---
I am looking to take a trip to the Carribbean sometime in March. I somehow found my way to the RIU resorts and hotels website and found some really good deals. They all seem very nice, however i have never heard of these hotels. Does anyone have any feedback about these hotels? I am specifically looking at Jamaica or Dominican Republic. Any feedback would be very helpful.
Thanks a lot.

My father has stayed at the RIU in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. He had a very nice vacation and quite liked the hotel and the food available.
I don't stay at resorts much, but I have some friends that do, and RIU is supposedly one of the nicer resort companies.

Hola!
If staying in the Dominican Rep, I strogly suggest either a Bahia Principe brand OR a Princess brand. RIU are known for good-service... You can get more for your bucks, though.
