Getting to Kos, Greece

Asking this question for a cousin as she has limited Internet access while abroad.

Anyways, my cousing is looking to get to Kos, Greece from London and is unsure the best way to do it using the best (cheapest) method possible. I'm finding flights on Olympic Air for GBP290 - I'm not sure if that is a good price or not.

Any advise is appreciated!

The cheapest fare for that route is currently around 150 GBP/round-trip (+taxes), and it doesn't appear to have any date restrictions:

If she is not interested in miles and is travelling Easter onwards then a charter airline would be the cheapest option. flythomascook.com have decent one way fares to KGS (much cheaper than OA) and direct flights from LGW. In the winter there are no direct flights from the UK and therefore OA is probably the only option apart from buying an easyJet ticket to ATH and then an onward ticket from there.

Don't Bother!

I went to Kos a few years ago, and the place was a dump. Sorry if others don't agree, but it was the dirtiest, most British larger lout infested Greek island I have ever visited. I was pleased to move onto Kalimnos and Rhodes.
