Airfare.com- Pros and cons?

I have never used Airfare.com. I'm also new to traveling. I received a quoted price on mobissimo.com of $580.00. Now the terms and conditions say this:

Airfares and reservations are not guaranteed until tickets are issued. If for any reason, such as problems with credit cards, ticketing is delayed, the quoted fare may change. Please be sure you have entered all information correctly, to avoid unnecessary delay. Schedules and fares are subject to change without notice.

Tickets are normally NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-CHANGEABLE, and NON-TRANSFERABLE. Wholly unused tickets have NO VALUE after the original departure date.

So does this mean after I purchase the tickets they can jack up the price substantially after the ticket purchase is made, without telling me? And if so, would this mean i would be obligated to pay the new fare given that the tickts are NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-CHANGEABLE, and NON-TRANSFERABLE?

Thanks for any help!

No. If the fare changes they are obligated to tell you and you can decide whether or not you stil want to get the ticket

Cheers

I realize I'm a little late on this, but . . . If you've purchased the ticket, the price will be locked in and will not change. They are just saying that it could change between the time you request the reservation and the ticket purchase is actually completed. In most circumstances, this occurs instantly, so there isn't a problem. If there is a credit card problem though, for example, the ticket would not be purchased and when you go back to fix the problem, the fare may have changed.

FWIW, I run the travel site for PriceGrabber.com (also a metasearch site), and Airfare.com is one of our partners. We have yet to receive any sort of complaints about them to date, so hopefully these are just standard disclaimers and not often seen in practice.
