Exclamation Eos Airlines still going strong???

Is it true that 20 flight attendents have left? If I've booked a flight and they go under what does that mean for me? Will my insurance cover it?

As a GENERAL rule if you book a flight with a credit card and the company goes under you will get your money back. I would call your issuerer and see what they offer. However this will not help you to find a replacement flight if an airline goes under say the day before your flight.

However EOS fares are quite high so the OP could just ticket onto BA.

I don't think EOS will be going down the tube just yet somehow..

I believe this only applies to U.S. credit cards, not U.K. ones.

It applied to all credit cards (including U.K.) when EUjet went under (see page 4 of this report), and it applied as well when VBird Airlines went bankrupt. It seems to be a general rule, but to be sure, one should check with the CC company.

Paying by Debit card (VISA electron, for example) does NOT save you if the airline goes bankrupt.
