Thumbs down IAD Concourse C

Can we please get a few decent places to eat in Concourse C at IAD. The food choices are just terrible.

You should check out SEA. I've wandered that entire airport on a four hour layover looking for something. . .anything worth eating.

Thanks.

This probably won't be of much consolation, but if you had the time or inclination to head over to D, the Panda Express often gives out mondo portions. And Rosa at the Starbucks next to TGIFriday's is more full of warm cheer than Jimmy Carter's mother.

There are some new things coming both to C and D. I am not sure what, but the below link may provide some hints. The bartender I always talk to at TGIF told me that TGIF was going away, not sure if that is true or false...

The rent is too high to sell honest food at honest prices.

Even the food served at McDonald's is sub-par. Ate there recently during a connection and was served dry, barely warm, utterly tasteless french fries.

The Panda Express at D ran out of food (again) so I tried TGIF. Big mistake. They literally threw my food at me. That entire airport stinks as far as food (but the worst is B, if you are flying JetBlue).

I guess that's the ultimate consequence of serving those mondo portions at lunch (usually when I visit), especially to the DH ground crew that seem to love to eat there.
