Can't you fly to FRD anymore?

I too enjoy the Ballard Locks - I love watching the salmon swimming upstream (except that sometimes, I have 'salmon days' at work) when they are running and seeing all of the beautiful boats passing through.

I drove by the Museum of Flight in August (on my way to FedEx to pick up some flowers) and was thinking of stopping by and taking the tour either on Sunday or Monday. The Underground Tour looks interesting as well.

The Underground Tour was a pleasant surprise. It was very interesting to learn about the history of Seattle.

Tour Safeco Field, home of the Mariners.

Pretty interesting roof they got there. I have never met a stadium that's lid can move.

I agree, the trip to Bainbridge is nice.

Visit Pike St Market.
Dude-the Mariners' season just got over and the Sonics' haven't started yet. He's going to be here for this weekend!

Bring money and a flashlight. Oh wait, they'll give you a flashlight.

Bar hop through Bell Town. Bring money and ID.

See a game (Sonics / SeaHawks / Huskies / Mariners). Sonics - er, not yet. Seahawks - er, the OP is coming to SEA, not STL; Huskies - not playing this week; Mariners - in your dreams.

I agree, the trip to Bainbridge is nice.

Visit Pike St Market.
Hey, this is Flyertalk. Museum of Flight. Kenmore Air to Victoria. Boeing plant tour (if coming on Friday or Monday.)

Things to do in Seattle

A lot of what has been said are good suggestions. The Pike Place Market is number one. The Experience Music Project is pretty interesting. A ferry ride is a good idea. Instead of Bainbridge, you can take the Vashon Ferry (it leaves out of West Seattle), run the length of the island, take the ferry at the south end to Tacoma, then visit the glass museum there. A very interesting place althought the exhibits aren't too expansive yet. A nice place for people who aren't crazy about museums. Then on the way back to Seattle you could stop at Boeing Field and see the Flight Museum. Start early if you do this as its a long day. Rainier is great, but you need a sunny day, and it is a day long trip. You can stay overnight at the National Park Inn in Longmire, just at the base of the mountain. A great place in winter.

Why yes, they do; thanks for pointing that out to me. Bellevue Crossroads Florist was very helpful, and I was very happy with the quality of the roses I ordered.

This weekend, I did the Underground Tour, Ballard Locks, and The Museum of Flight; I enjoyed them all.

You can visit my friends' Thai import store in Pioneer Square:

http://www.lannaimports.com/web/index.html

The underground tour stops in front of the store, so it will be easy to visit if you go on the tour. There is also a great martini bar across the street at 88 Yesler, I think it's called Bill's Bar but I am not 100% sure about the name.

Seattle is one fine city. I can't wait to go back.

If I were in the Seattle area I would definately call the SEA FT gang and have a great dinner! ^ Of course, the Seattle FT gang is starting to deny knowing me.
