Question Gas prices lowering?

It seems that the prices for gas is lowering - somewhat - but how much and how fast?

Before Katrina struck, in RI I was paying about $2.40. Then it went up to $3.29 within a week! At least now, it is falling to about $3.10.

It went up 80 cents in a week, and only dropped 15 cents in a week? When is it going down some more?

What is it in other areas? And how much was the increase and decrease?

In Northern FL we were at $2.60 before Katrina, it went up to $3.10-3.40 within a couple days and is now back down to $2.85.

It was about $2.39 or so before Katrina here in Minneapolis. Spiked to about $3.29 or so, back down to $2.69 this morning.

I last filled up at $2.49, so I just drove through the spike.

In Panama City most places are hovering around $3, but the Tom Thumb has it for $2.65 I think.

In my neck of the woods, it's lowering but barely. In a short time it's expected to rise again.

Near DTW there's one station that was selling premium for 3.599 (on 9/2), a day later it was 3.299 and a week later 3.029.

I didn't buy any at any of these prices because my car uses regular.
