Complimentary shuttle in Houston?

Complimentary shuttle in Houston?
I have agendas in both downtown Houston and the Galleria area (not renting a car b/c friends will taxi me after 5p.m.) Are there any hotels that offer a free shuttle if I stay in one area and they taxi me to the other? I saw that the Galleria is about 6 miles away from DT, and some limit the service to a 5 mile radius.

Where can you pick up the 24 hour pass. Trying to get one of those in Chicago...let's just say it was difficult and they weren't offered at obvious locations.

Get on the bus and tell the driver you want to get the day pass instead of a single ticket. Put the two dollar bills in the right-hand slot sequentially, and the driver will issue the day-ticket from the left-hand slot.
